Guidance only

Everything on perfectjewellerygifts.com is published for general education about jewellery gift ideas and buying guides. It is shopping guidance only — not professional advice of any kind — and it is not a substitute for the retailer’s own product information.

Prices and sources

Every guide names and links to the product pages its prices and details come from. Where two pages show different figures, the retailer’s current product page controls. Prices carry the guide’s Last updated date and may have changed since.

No guarantees

We work to keep our guides accurate, but we make no warranty that any price, product detail, or availability information is complete or current. The retailer’s page controls.

Prices are not offers

Prices shown are in USD, are shown for guidance only, and are not a quote or an offer to sell.

Advertising and independence

Ads displayed on this site (including Google AdSense) do not affect which products our guides feature or the prices we publish. We do not sell placements in our guides.

Corrections

If you spot an error, tell us via the Contact page and we will check it against the source it came from.

What “guidance only” means in practice

It means our guides do the guiding and the retailer’s page does the selling. A guide can explain why a symbol suits an occasion, what a piece is for, and which questions to ask before you buy — and that is general education about jewellery gift ideas, not professional advice of any kind. It is not a substitute for the retailer’s own product information: the materials, dimensions, care instructions and terms that govern a specific piece are the ones on that piece’s product page. If a guide’s general description and the retailer’s product information ever point in different directions, follow the retailer’s information for anything you are about to buy.

A worked example: when two pages show different prices

Say a guide shows a bracelet at one price, with the guide’s Last updated date beside it, and you follow the guide’s link to the retailer’s product page and find a different figure there — higher, lower, or a sale that has started or ended since the guide was checked. That is the situation the Prices and sources section above is written for: every guide names and links to the product pages its prices come from, prices may have changed since the guide’s Last updated date, and where two pages show different figures, the retailer’s current product page controls. The guide’s figure was the published figure when it was compiled; it is not a promise that the same figure will be waiting when you arrive.

Availability and product details

The same rule covers more than price. A product can sell out, be renamed, be described differently, or have its options changed — a different box, a different chain length, a revised description — after a guide that features it was built or updated. That is why we make no warranty that any price, product detail or availability information on this site is complete or current. We work to keep our guides accurate, and each guide carries the date it was last updated, but the check that counts is the one you can make yourself in seconds: open the linked retailer page and read the current version before you decide anything.

Advertising, in plain English

Ads displayed on this site, including Google AdSense, are part of how the site is funded, and they are labeled by the advertising network. They do not affect which products our guides feature or the prices we publish, and we do not sell placements in our guides: no product is in a guide because anyone paid for it to be there, and no price in a guide is set by an advertiser. If an ad and a guide ever appear to say different things about the same product, the guide’s named source — the retailer’s product page — is the one that controls.

How corrections work

If you spot an error — a price that no longer matches its source, a product detail we have described wrongly, a link that leads to the wrong page — tell us via the Contact page. We will check it against the source it came from: the retailer product page the guide names and links to. That check is the whole process, and it is why naming our sources in every guide matters: an error in a guide can be traced to the exact page it came from, and corrected against it.
